If you're looking for rate information, you won't like what you see for the 4th of July weekend. Be prepared to spend big just for the hotel. I can only say one hotel that surely wouldn't be a good spot for a "Girls Trip", Cambridge Marriott. Unless you're all a bunch of engineers, scientists and techie types, then it might be perfect. But in general, the neighborhood (Kendall Square) does not fit what you're probably looking for in a Boston getaway weekend.
