One "option", or that's the way it looked as he just brought it over without asking me anything. I've had that happen a few times.
On other shorter TATL flights, I usually get an option.
As for mid-flight, I just grabbed whatever was sitting out. I thought about asking if there was a hot option but I wasn't really that hungry at that point.

For some reason, I thought that a longer TPAC flight would mean better food, not much much worse. I definitely always got ice cream in some form.
