Is there any truth to this because what I'm seeing in this thread is very different from what I'm told. For what it's worth I was given 10k rdm for a last minute cancelled flight. I was offered $250 credit OR 10k RDM but only because I had to spend overnight due to the cancelation. They cancelled my flight with less than 12 hours notice, rebooked me on a flight that had a 14 hour layover overnight (I was originally on a direct) and then when I called they moved me to the next available direct which was 24 hours later.
I wrote in again after rejection and just told them that after 6-7 cancellations over the past 3 months its no longer realistic for me to hit 75k or get 100k anymore. Will see how it goes. But if they keep saying no after giving other EQM, Ill just move most flying back to AA or go free agent. Was hoping to avoid AA but seems like AS is falling apart more often now and really not enough benefit to deal with them all when easy to hit EXP with rocketmiles. Could easily see them continuing to cancel 50% of my flights over summer and still hold to this silly notion that no EQM for the problems they keep creating.
