escape4 Thanks for the detailed review. I'm considering either Capella, or The Siam. For the former, I was thinking about the Veranda suites, but I now see the actual plunge pool is fairly visible from the rooms above, which is fine, but not ideal. for The Siam, I was looking at the Pool Suite (Riverview). If you've stayed at both hotel, do you have a preference? I've not been to Bangkok in 20 yrs, and this stay is part of a trip we may never be able to afford again, so want to make sure I choose wisely!
