What compensation should I expect?
My fight from New York to San Francisco was canceled and was rebooked on a flight exactly 24 hours later.
I called them and was offered a flight on my original day but with a connection and arriving really late. I declined the offer and inquired about compensation since an extra day is going to have extra expense. The agent told me there is nothing she can offer but I can certainly contact customer care after the trip. Is that correct? She did tell me to save all receipts to claim reimbursement.
My other question is I rent from a private party and it is nice that I can extend a night. However, there is no recipes then how do I claimed reimbursement?
