Two quick nights in Athens (only our second visit so location is important) in July during what seems to be a busy weekend. My review of the various threads here suggest that many prefer the GB. Here are my options for points:

Academias: Executive King with City View (35sqm) for 118,600 pts. (base room is 28sqm, no view, 95,000 pts)

GB: Classic Room , courtyard view (24sqm) 134,000pts; Deluxe room is 133,000 pts + $680 or 277,000 points (!!) but it is large at 40sqm

KG: Classic Courtyard View (25sqm) for 134,000 points

I am leaning toward the Executive King at the Academias but am unfamiliar with the city and thus unsure of the location. Also, mixed reviews here, especially on base rooms. What do you all think? How important is a view in Athens? Are we better off with a larger room plus view at Academias or smaller classic room at preferred hotel like GB?
