I'm also looking to book two DL award seats from separate accounts. My account is Platinum, my husband has no status. Flights are TATL and we'll book Business class.

Question: I had read on a blog (but can't find on the Delta website), that the tickets would be fully refundable 72 hours or more before departure, with all miles returned. Is this correct, including for the account with no status?

According to my query, there are three seats available at the miles price we are looking at, so I guess I should call and have this booked via phone? Is there a fee for me to do this as a Platinum member, even if one ticket is taken from my account and one from his non-status account?
