Based on the last lengthy thread related to this topic that is the suggested method: put first and middle names together in the first name field. It works fine and won't present TSA issues.

From my personal experience, back in the day when I booked Alaska flights via British Airways Avios awards my first name always wound up smooshed with "mr" and a middle name on it. No issues.
