I am trying to book husband and son on the same flight, but AS won't allow since their first and last names are the same (John Adam Doe and John Braden Doe).

I would prefer for them to be booked together, is there any way around this?

I've read suggestions for other airlines to book using their first and middle names together (JohnAdam and JohnBraden) but not sure if 1) that will work, and 2) if that will present problems at TSA or gate?

Any advice specific for AS appreciated - as a last resort, I will book them separately. Thank you!
