Agree. Good service trumps being called by name.
Most recent TATL flight was DUB-YYZ in PY and service was good. Previous TATL flight YUL-FRA I was greeted by name, and the SD checked in with every J PAX prior to landing to very earnestly ask about their flight experience. However meal service was a mixed bag.
