It has been many years since this question has popped up.

What would you use the miles for, would you get more than $250 worth of vlaue?

At 0.36 cpm, this you be one of the cheapest ways to purchase UA miles. UA usually sells miles at 2 cpm but most value UA miles between 1 to 2 cpm.
