I’ve had a 5 night stay booked at the Andaz for over 8 months in a confirmed Andaz Suite for my babymoon. This morning (a few days before our stay) we received an email saying that they accidentally “erased” my suite upgrade and they are now sold out which is frustrating. However, they did mention the following:
- The resort will return to your membership account the Suite award.
- You will be staying in one of our rooms with full bay view and a beautiful location next to our Onda Spa.
- We will provide complementary for you our All-inclusive meal plan to enjoy our resort.
- You will have the opportunity to experience one of our Pura Vida activities of your preference as a courtesy from us.
To me this seems pretty fair - would you ask for anything else? We are really bummed about the room, but free food is a nice touch.
bummer about the mess up but I really think you’re getting out ahead! I have stayed in one of those large bay view rooms by the spa, loved it! There’s in indoor/outdoor shower and nice balcony. The free food is a great deal because their restaurants are pricey
