I'm not a fan of the hotel zone, but I absolutely love Playa Mujeres. I've stayed there 5 times already. My favorite resorts there are Beloved Playa Mujeres and Excellence Playa Mujeres. These are owned by the same company. There is a Secrets Playa Mujeres, but I know it gets mixed reviews. I passed on staying there. I do believe there is a Dreams Playa Mujeres as well.

​​​​​​There is actually a Zoetry on Isla Mujeres. It became a Zoetry property a few years ago. I stayed there before the rebranding. Absolutely amazing service. It very small with a boutique feel. You also get complimentary private yacht transfer to/from the island.
