Unfortunately on some routes like this, where flights may not be catered at the destination, the flight has to be catered for both the outbound and return and the food quality suffers. I’m not saying that’s right, or the case here, but this was an issue even pre-Covid. I experienced this several times in F heading into PLS and the FA’s always told me the catering to some of these vacation destinations suffered from poor food options.
Nearly 2000 miles with that “meal” is ridiculous though.
never had this issue at AUA or PLS - always full catering. Maybe they aren’t “back yet”. Regardless if that’s the case and you’re not ready, the itinerary should be updated accordingly.
