But I'm also pretty sure this was a case of "crew accidentally skipped over you, had leftovers, and ate it before you pointed it out" (I've had that once (in many many many flights) before), which might give them a disincentive.

But I'd hope your copy of the stub would be sufficient to get this dealt with.
