Where will you be based? If you are moving to Europe, you don't need to worry about MQDs, only MQMs and as others said, it will depend on marketing carrier and you'll have to do the math before booking each flight.

100% sure. I was based in Paris and short CDG-AMS/CDG-GVA $100 light fare roundtrips generated 1000 MQMs.
