Singapore airlines- name discrepancy on booking v ticket
Hi all, I’m new to flyer talk so I hope I’m posting in the correct area.
I have booked return flights from BNE- LHR with Singapore airlines.
when making the booking I ensured I entered my full name in the booking as per my passport.
however when I open the kris flyer app it only has
my first initial & my last name. But what confuses me is my booking confirmation/itinerary and e-Ticket sent to me by the airline shows my full name.
so the actual booking in the reservation system shows just my first initial and last name, but everything else shows my full name.
can anyone let me know if this will be an issue or why this may have happened?
im panicking because it’s my first time visiting my family since before covid with my new born baby and I miss them and don’t want anything to inhibit my travels.
I have spoken to SQ and they said that the check in agent will be Able to see the full form (full name) and it Shouldn’t be a problem, but want a second opinion as I know airlines can be a bit inconsistent with their info sometimes.
