In an ideal scenario, yes. A couple of weeks ago my father-in-law's flight from JFK-FRA was delayed so he ended up missing his 2 hour connection & had to be re-routed via DXB on Emirates.

If you do end up missing your connection then LH will put you on another flight to get you to your destination.
