Oh yeah, while trying to recall all of the other stuff, I completely forgot about that incident. Very similar thing happened with us. We finished "check in paperwork" downstairs in the lobby around noon (where we left our luggage), were allowed to go into the Club Lounge from 1:30pm, got our keys for the room shortly before 3pm, and no luggage to be found in the room. Took a bit of work for us to find them as well.
Also, we were told that when we returned a staff member would show us to the club lounge, but when did return, we were instead told to wait in the now very long line in the lobby to get a key for the club lounge. Fortunately my wife spoke up and said that we were told that staff member would just take us there. After several minutes of conference, some other staff eventually did just that.
Yikes.
