Yummmmm - the empanadas are really good, and filling, too. And the best ones are generally well under US$1.

And now, for a travel warning... For those of you unfamiliar with the massive quanities of mayo that Chilenos use on their sandwiches, now you know. When I order things w/o mayo (just "tomate palta"), waitpersons seem often surprised, and sometimes, will inquire further to be sure, and some have actually put some mayo on the side just in case.

Mmmmm - just another month until my fixes of empanadas, lomitos tomate palta, congrio, and a series of crappy nescafe-laden breakfasts.
