Hi! I read this thread in search of answers if Southwest cheap fares would work with the Amex Platinum credit - I just recently got the card and just now signed up for a flyertalk account to participate in this thread!

I made the airline selection on May 1. Both show up as $88.98 charges made on May 1 (a few hours after selecting Southwest as my choice), no credits yet on May 3.

Thanks for all of the info above - hoping my charges will work toward the credit!
