On seat assignments post selection and not showing on AY MMB, I did suggest generating an eticket email from AY which does show this. Also i have now found if you add the booking to the AY app by adding the PNR the seat assignments are also shown on these.
I salute your forensic skills!! But my heart sank when I discovered the e-ticket route displayed one set of seats attached to my reservation, the app a different set. EF helpfully covers all four seats, but BA goes with AY's e-ticket: which might be something of a comfort.
I'm not overly fussed, all are window seats. But I
am puzzled. I guess if there's a take-away it's not to get too complacent about the remote work-arounds: best to call the airline.
