You'll forgive me for not moving into the domain of marital strife reconciliation. But whereas your 92 year old relative may be obviously wishing to avoid travelling at 22:00 hrs, that may have been all there was available when there is a mass data upload. There were hundreds of thousands of bookings involved in this latest shake up. Give it an hour or two then slots appear on other services as people shuffle their bookings around. Ideally they wouldn't be cancelling services at all, but neither age nor infirmity will be taken into account with automated rebooking.
