Well it does sound as if there was an excessive amount of time and effort dedicated to her social media rather than to managing the cabin based on the OP's report. I am not sure delaying staff at the gate and recording herself doing a PA seems appropriate.

As for the official complaint; you were in a public space and I feel it is an expectation you could appear in people's social media posts. If you appeared in mine, would you still complain to BA?
I would be very surprised if it wasn't against BA's internal policy, but to be fair on that issue perhaps she avoids including passengers in pics and videos.
