My understanding is that lifetime GS member and regular GS member (annual requalification) receive the same priority wailist treatment, which is determined by the fare class of ticket paid. My questions are:

2. How does award ticket factored into the priority wait list versus paid ticket?
These are true for all status level
Lifetime versus qualified status has no impact.
Award tickets are prioritized as $0 fare, at the bottom of the fare prioritization for your status group.
