Has the safety video been scrapped now? I appreciate on shorthaul many aircraft now lack a flipdown video screen but noticed on longhaul (A380) it was a manual demo on my recent flight.

Does anyone know if it’s coming back or we’re getting a new one? And if it’s been stopped, why? Is it the face covering / oxygen masks thing?

Does anyone know whether shorthaul aircraft can play a recorded announcement? Whilst I appreciate a good announcement, shall we say not all people are that good at it, particularly racing through at breakneck speed without pausing for breath. For others, you can tell they have a calling for the theatre! I think for this, consistency & clarity is key.
