this happens to me all the time. The flight from cork/dublin to LHR with EI is always an “ACXXXX” flight but then gets changed to “EIXXX”. So I end up earning no SQS/SQD. I they they are not a star alliance partner that’s why?
also the EI planes on that route don’t actually have business class. At least Cork to LHR doesn’t even though it shows business when I book with AC initially
