Our local airport has United, Delta and Alaska, but we are cheap flights from Portland, Seattle, SFO, LAX and Den. We could start at any of them. Does this make any sense to try to do it that way?
That's only in theory. In reality, Krisflyer can only be trusted on SQ flights. The rest are just some kind of luck.
