The irony is that few years ago OS had a perfect hot meal pre-order offer in short-haul economy. It was enhanced away and now we can play lottery with BOB.
I don't get it - wouldn't it be better for airlines to load exactly what customers want instead of hoping that they estimate it right? Current model leads to food waste (money lost), bad customer experience when people stay hungry and ultimately loss of revenue as fewer people rely on food on board and eat before the flight (definitely my case). OS has some great hot items on menu but I'm not risking staying hungry for hours.
well this happens with all legacy airlines because they have to cater for business class meaning they have less space for BoB at the back as compared to LCCs.
