I am looking for anyone who may have stayed at the del Sol in Acapulco. My partner and I are looking at a side trip in January to get 3-4 days in the sun. We have gone to Puerto Vallarta twice this year, and thought despite lots of advise against this, we would try out Acapulco. We have miles and time, so hotel, transfer, and food are the only expenses. If Acapulco is great, then cool. If it is a dud, well the weather is great and cost is low.

Has anyone stayed at del Sol guest house? Any reviews to share? Any other recommendations on gay or gay friendly accomodations.
