R is irrelevant to bid upgrades.

You appear somewhat anxious about this. If you really want the upgrade and can pay the $440, do it and be done with it. If you're not sure about the value, wait it out and maybe you'll get a better deal. Worst case, you're in PY.

But bid upgrades don't typically get processed until T-48, so you've got another week and change of waiting.
