Any risk of flying AMS-BRU-AMS on same aircraft (separate tickets)?

Greetings all. Looking for some advice please. I have a flight out of BRU on KLM that routes me BRU-AMS and then on to the USA. I need to position myself to BRU to catch that flight and the best option is the inbound aircraft from AMS. It's a KLM Cityhopper flight operating AMS-BRU with a tight 30-minutes on the ground in BRU before heading back to AMS. Any risk here? I know that this would all be intra-Schengen but when exiting in BRU, do passengers walk off into the waiting area for the next service (like domestic flights within the USA)? Or are they funneled to a passport check or other area (meaning that I would need to potentially clear customs/security again)?

Thanks in advance for any insights here!
