I think they're trying to emphasise it is local produce, but for me all it conjures up is something like the below... which actually happens to be in Qatar. Maybe they should have stuck with a "Qatari produce" style image next to the menu item like BA does with the
British Italian Tiramisu.

QR do a much better job than the vast majority of airlines, but it is still airline food. There are way more hits than failures but it isn't haute cuisine. It has certainly gone down a few notches the last few years IMO.
