Arrived last night. Took transfer option #4 for ~$80US, and it was plenty comfortable. Arrived at 930ish. Check-in was a little less formal than I expected, but went fine.
Woke up at 445 for the 530 nature walk. That was quite enjoyable, and we're likely to do it again. Still quite cool in the early morning, but heating up significantly by 830. Breakfast was fantastic too.



As far as how special this place is, still TBD. We came to the preserve in 2016 with Platinum Heritage for Falconry/Camel Rides, and had a great time. Saw the sign for Al Maha and figured I'd have to make it here one day.

Really liking the on-site wildlife.
