Question Using 2 different kinds of companion voucher on one booking?

Via my BA EC AmEx, I have earned two more companion vouchers (though both with somewhat annoyingly-timed expiry dates) but they are of two different types. The first one is the old-style "BA American Express Companion Voucher" which allows for a companion to fly in Club if you book the main ticket in Club, and a newer-style "BA American Express Credit Card Companion Voucher" which only allows the companion to fly in Economy (therefore making the attraction of the BA Amex lessen over time).

My question is this - because the BA reward flight booking interface treats these as two different kinds of voucher, I am unable to select both of them to use on one reward booking - on the website, it appears I have to pick one or the other even if all travellers are going Economy. Do I have any recourse other than (shudder) actually getting on the phone and doing the on-hold fun? I am a Silver member. Is there any way anyone knows to self-service this one?
