Same comment as above, but slightly relevant to this topic. If someone doesn't believe in euthanizing animals, he/she would be a hypocrite for continuing to work as an animal control officer.


This is not a totalitarian Communist country (not yet anyway), where everyone is assigned a job by the government, and you either do that job or starve to death.

In the USA, if you hold a job, it implies that you agree with the basic principles behind that position. "I'm just doing my job" is not an excuse for abusing people.
