Qantas grossly underestimated demand once freedom of movement opened back up. So did the US3. I'm glad I was able to get back for a bit - now I fear it would have been prohibitively expensive.
I was able to get SYD-DFW and SFO-SYD on economy classic reward for later this year. Would have preferred to have gone PE or even Business - but a free flight is a free flight.
