Driving on the left and the steering wheel on the correct size is nbd for me. I've driven in japan and UK.
Are the tolls expensive?
Are the cars mostly A/T or is it similar to EU where it's M/T.

I can't speak for Sydney, but it's not the aisle service you would expect in the US. There will be a dedicated counter line for National rentals, but don't expect it to work right if they are busy with Alamo rentals.
Overall a decent experience, but be prepared to wait if there are leisure rentals as there is no aisle.
Also you will have to manually have National post the rental day to your account to get credit.
ahh i see, i got a 2nd email for check-in after i booked so i guess it's not run by corporate?
do you know what the fleet is like, more of the same like in N.A?
