I and my entourage will be staying in Sydney at the same time as you (January 22-28) and I have booked my parents into the Hyatt (I love the location and opera view for the once in a lifetime experience) but decided to save some of my own bucks and booked a full habour view room at the FS for me and my girlfriend. I will look up at wotif right ahead of the trip trying to get a decent HV room at the newly renovated Shangri-La in the last minute. I once worked in an office building opposite of the Westin which offers a nice city view but for me, nothing beats the Sydney Harbour/Opera view...
