About 24 hours after the cancellation email I got a text message on my phone with a web link to the other options. I think that’s the extent of them ‘making contact’.
It’s only helpful if the computer has caught up and allocated you a different flight really which you think suitable, otherwise a phone call is required.

Looking at the timetable, now only 1 flight from LHR to INV that Sat, the 1920 departure, which would mean getting to my hotel at JoG, about 1am (no other bookings that day, but wastes a day of a gentle drive up the east coast).. am hoping we can at least get moved to that flight but on Fri - using them, BAH, to either add extra day Car and/or Hotel (to have service each day for the x2TP)
