Would you say the Phoenix heat is even worse and the pool isn't enough to off-set it?

I'm looking at going just prior to the July 4th weekend, would be leaving the Thursday or Friday prior.
I always travel at the end of June to Phoenix and the heat is not like Florida. The temperature goes higher than in Florida but since there is mostly no humidity, it is way more bearable. Just by finding a shaded spot you will see a big difference in temperature, while in Florida the humidity makes it unbearable (and nearly unbreathable) even in the shades. I personally love the dry heat and that's why I keep going to Phoenix during the summer every year (and at the Phoenician).
