I don’t trust ANYONE who calls me unsolicited. The scammers spend all their time planning successful (for them) scams, I can only devote some time to learning and responding to possible scam calls and I certainly do not have the technological capabilities to distinguish scam calls from legitimate calls. Sorry to say that (I feel a little bit awful when) I’ve hung up on what are probably legitimate fundraising calls from police and firefighter organizations. Unfortunately these are the (interesting) times we live in.
