Possible that the curry place you are talking about is Curry House 11 Imasa, it is still there. I had Mega Curry (840 yen) recently. It is a deal for 840 yen, the volume of the dish, and it was almost too much for one person. This is on an underground shopping arcade that connects Keio Shinjuku station and Keio Shin-Shuinjuky station.
