Two days before arrival, received email, informing me I have been upgraded to a better room.
On arrival greeted as a Diamond.
Staff member very enthusiastic to offer choice of beverage or points.
Selected beverage, staff member said he will also give me points.
When having beverage, staff gave me an extra freebie beverage.
Very happy, but it was only a HIX in Germany which I wont name as I dont want everyone asking for extra wine
They are trying..
Tomorrow I have HIX stay in England, so far no upgrade email..But HIX cant really do too much in that respect.
