From memory my BA GGL thing was based on lifetime points .... something like 37k fI think. So it indicated loyalty over longer time frame . Think it took me 10 years get my BA gold for life. I guess is roughly comparible.

IHG One Rewards is sort of crappy loyalty program. Most of IC hotels which are usually overpriced and have club lounge are designed in 1990s.
