I'm looking to drive up from DC to Connecticut on Thursday morning. I figure leaving DC around 7-8AM. Now, MapPoint has be going through NYC at around 10:20AM, via 95. That's assuming leaving at DC at 7AM and a rate of roughly 75MPH (a safe bet on I-95). Anyways - am I going to get nailed in traffic related to Macy's day at that time? And if so - any ideas for avoiding it? In terms of where in CT i'm going, it's Waterbury.
