The Residences are basically condo units with full kitchen, living room and separate bedrooms with washer/dryer in unit. I think they must fit in between the Boardwalk and Sweetgrass Inns and the vacation rental units. I too wasn’t too sure what to expect as I didn’t find much written about it. I did see a review of the vacation rentals on frequentmiler, but not much on the other lodging options. Overall, I liked it. There’s several food and beverage options scattered around the resort providing a bit of variety. Spent a good amount of my non-working time there walking on the beach. It was a little cool for the pool when I was there, but they looked decent. The one big downside was that Verizon’s cell service was terrible. It was ok on the top floor balcony or out on the beach away from the buildings, but was pretty much nonexistent anywhere else.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience!
