Maybe there are some people out there who think that a boycott might change the attitude of an airline's national government. I support the right of people to make a boycott for whatever reason. But I don't want to have to decide which country's government I am least disappointed by. And I don't want to have to change FFP each time a government finds a new way to disappoint me, and I have to switch airline again.
