I'm sort of a transit kind of guy. I'm assuming Dubai has a subway system? Will it take me to most of the places that I want?

Yea, I know what you mean. I'll definitely be prepared to dress appropriately. I wear long-sleeve shirts and pants even in Singapore. The main trick for me in hot and humid cities is to drink plenty of water.
