Used SNAs and was upgraded to top corner suite (1515) well ahead of arrival. I liked the room a lot. Not a separate sitting area though, but not a big deal on this trip as I was by myself.
Had a great bathroom with huge shower + huge soaking tub. Separate walk-in closet area that was good sized. Nice to have luggage and clothes out of the way.

Lounge was great thru the week and chaotic on weekends. Unbelievably crowded on weekends, where Lounge visits for evening happy hour had to reserved and limited to one hour blocks. And was packed.
Thru the week, much more relaxing and never overcrowded.
Thursday evening Happy Hour was moved to the main restaurant, which was a very nice experience. Better and more varied food options.
Breakfast was in the restaurant and was on the better side of buffet experiences. Many "made to order" items, including a grill station for Moo Ping, Esan sausage, grilled chicken. (Plus omelets and pancake/waffle station)
Breakfast on weekend went on a wait list.

Spa was completely booked thru end of year, most likely due to really deep pricing promotions. As a recommendation, I found Loft Thai Spa located on Suk Soi 38. Easy walk down from Thong Lor BTS station.
Excellent experience. Had the "Gentleman's package" and was very pleased. High quality Massage + Facial in pristine facility. Very reasonably priced.

Housekeeping was great. Even had a turndown service, which haven't had in a long time.

Overall, recommended, especially if you are here mid-week.

Due to popular demand, the Happy Hour at the lounge has been split into two sessions: 5:30 - 7pm and 7:15 - 8:45pm. The service and food options are less impressive this time due to the crowds. Also a lot of people were "camping" with their laptops to secure the coverted window seats prior to the first session.
Yeah, it has been that way for awhile. When I was there, the happy hour was split into 3 sessions to accommodate everyone in the lounge, but only on the weekends. Thru the week was much less crowded. Is that what you are still seeing?

I have to say though, the staff handled the crowd very well.
